2008 Open Weekend Sunday
Another lovely day today and the park was full of folks wanting a ride.
The loco's were kept very busy hauling passengers and the steam roller had a trailer attached and was also kept busy towing those who wanted a ride on a "real" machine.
Mike Maloney looking happier today
Morgan (permanantly attached to the traction engine)
Nathaniel Clark and very proud dad Wayne
The scary thing about this photo is that one day these three terrors REALLY will be driving
Caleb Scott helping out on marks loco
A face not seen for a while on our track "Jeffery Farrell"
Ryan on "Pamela"
the photographer("moi") found more exciting things to do today,
i just had to have a drive of the steam roller and traction engine.
(no children, animals or trees were harmed during this trial) (more byluck than skill)
Ryan 'still' on "Pamela" and don't think he's getting off anytime soon
The Presidents "better half" "Trish" enjoying a break from the kitchen.
(better behaved, definately better looking)
"Fiona Fordyce" (complaining because the photo was taken before she had time to fix her hair)
Claire cleaning up before packing everything away
Loading up with supplies for the long(slow) haul home
Not quite sure what the look on yugi's face means, could be go faster or im going to eat you or perhaps he's happy(you never know with Yugi who comes up for a pat and growls while you do it lol)
Claire taking Garnet and Yugi for one last ride
And after another delicious meal, presidential speech and a few more ales, the canons were fired a few times, then it was off home for a well deserved early night.
Once again we would like to thank all those who turned out this weekend to help make it so successful.
Especially the public who we trust had fun and will return for more rides.
